All Who Are Weary

In Matthew 11:28, Jesus extends one of the greatest invitations: 'Come to Me all who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.' He's speaking to a mixed crowd of people who fit the description perfectly. Those who feel beat down without hope. Those who strive each day to carry the overwhelming weight of life. Those who have no rest in their souls. Those who are tired from keeping up appearances and holding things together for everyone else.
In exchange for our weariness and heavy burdens, Jesus offers rest. He offers a better way to live; a more connected way to live.
Your brokenness and baggage are what qualify you to come and receive what He offers.
