And He Shall Reign
In the book of Revelation do we find the culmination of all things according to God's eternal plan. The heart of this letter to the churches is the revelation of Jesus Christ - who He is, the victory He's accomplished, and how this victory plays out to the final battle. The One who stands at the center of history is the King who sits enthroned over history. He alone is the beginning of all things and the end of all things.
The message to the church - a call to faithful endurance and obedience, lived from the reality of what is and what will be. And this reality is rooted in the crucified, risen, and ascended King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The final regeneration of God's people brings about the regeneration of the whole creation. The Kingdom of God, first given in the Garden of Eden, is now perfected in the New Heavens and New Earth. God's presence is experienced everywhere by every person dwelling in His Kingdom - extending all over the new earth. No trace of sin or evil or death is present. God's people will now live with Him in fellowship that's unhindered, and they will enjoy the blessing of His Kingdom forever.
