Jacob and Sons

With the promise from God to reestablish His Kingdom through Abraham's line, and ultimately fulfilled in Christ, what unfolds from Genesis 12 through 2 Chronicles 36 is a partial Kingdom - a foretaste of what's to come both in the coming of Christ and in His return. The partial Kingdom is demonstrated through various types and shadows that are pointing to Christ Himself - who He is and what He will accomplish through His life, death, and resurrection.

Throughout each step, God's faithfulness is magnified. He will bring about all that He has promised; He will not leave anything unfinished and unfulfilled. The life of Jacob beautifully demonstrates this truth.
